"But he felt like the Khabib thing had to be done".
Mixed martial arts fighter Cian Cowley, a friend of Conor McGregor, is led away by police. Insane things happen in sports ... you're dealing with human beings with personal lives and all these other things. "But when you bring in 20 hoodlums that flew in from Ireland to basically do this at our event, there's nothing like this that has ever happened".
"On Episode 5 of UFC 223 Embedded, lightweight champion Conor McGregor unexpectedly arrives, causing a disruption on the loading dock".
Footage purportedly showing McGregor throwing objects at the vehicle appeared on social media and the NYPD later confirmed he turned himself in for questioning.
At the Brooklyn's Kings County Criminal Court he was charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief relating to his attack on a UFC 223 fighter bus the previous day. "This was a real bad career move for him". He's got marks on him, for sure.
"It's not that I don't think he understood what happened, he justified it".
The clip also shows the reaction from the fighters on the bus with Michael Chiesa suffering a cut to the head.
Chiesa's fight with Anthony Pettis was called off Thursday night, as was Borg's bout against Brandon Moreno. Max Holloway is ruled out on medical grounds whilst cutting weight after weighing an alleged 159lbs when New York State Athletic Commission forced him out of the fight. [Pettis], I hope to run this match up ASAP, June 9 in your backyard. That's all I have to say for now.More news: Police Say Relatives Never Warned About YouTube Shooter

UFC President Dana White said on ESPN's Get Up! on Friday morning that he had no intentions of helping the former two-division world champion with his current legal situation.
The UFC released two different videos of McGregor heaving items, including a metal barrier and a hand truck, at a packed bus full of fighters.
"Guys will say things, push, shove, grab each other".
McGregor profanely responded on Twitter and wrote, "You'll strip me of nothing".
He last fought in a UFC bout in November 2016, when he defeated Eddie Alvarez to win the lightweight belt.
The incident is believed to be retaliation for a confrontation between Artem Lobov, one of McGregor's team mates, and Khabib and his team in a hotel last week.
He had already been stripped of his featherweight title.
In February, McGregor said he had offered to fight at UFC 222 but was denied.
