According to Baskin, Barkley's agents have gone as far as advising Barkley to refuse to play in Cleveland, but Barkley "never considered" that route as an option. As good a running back as he could potentially be, his overall impact on the team's success will still be somewhat limited compared to LeBron.
"I can say on behalf of our entire team that we would be thrilled for Saquon to go to whichever team drafts him", Cleveland.com reported Miale answered in a text response.
As part of a profile in Sports Illustrated, SI's Ben Baskin wrote that Barkley's Roc Nation representatives don't want him in Cleveland and have gone as far as to "pull an Eli Manning" and tell the Browns to pass on him. "They want him to go second to the Giants and play in the media capital of the world". Interestingly, the Browns did not invite Barkley to Berea for a pre-draft visit. "If you spend 10 minutes with Saquon you understand that he's going to be the face of a franchise".
The star running back out of Penn State is repped by Roc Nation, Jay-Z's full-service agency based in Manhattan, which boasts of a 15-man team surrounding Barkley to help build his brand. Nobody wants to go to the Browns, and here he is saying: 'I want a statue.More news: Carroll rescues late point for West Ham

Some have projected the Giants to take a quarterback with Eli Manning facing the twilight of his career while others have focused in on the fact that new general manager David Gettleman has a history of picking defensive ends early, which could equal NY picking Georgia's Bradley Chubb.
While it's highly doubtful that the Browns will take Barkley with the top pick, if the Giants and Jets decide to select quarterbacks at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively, Barkley could be available for Cleveland.
Ultimately, though, McShay does not see a Giants-Jets trade happening. "I think that would be the only possibility of a move".
Still, the momentum is all headed toward the Giants selecting Barkley at two, presuming the Browns draft a quarterback, most likely USC's Sam Darnold, at one - though that apparently still isn't a given. "It just feels to me like it's inevitable that Saquon Barkley is going to be a New York Giant".
