A woman shot her husband's mistress dead then turned the gun on herself after discovering their affair.
Jennair Gerardot, 48, is suspected of fatally shooting 33-year-old Meredith Chapman, a former colleague of her husband, Mark Gerardot, with whom he was believed to have an affair with.

Mark Gerardot, who received texts from his wife prior to the deaths, has been cooperating with police. "She was lying in wait, and she shot her as soon as she walked in, and then she shot herself".
The alleged assailant's body was found near the kitchen, not far from Chapman's body WACU reported. Investigators said the killings apparently stemmed from a domestic situation involving the two women and Gerardot's husband, Mark.
Chapman had recently started working at Villanova University as Assistant Vice President for Marketing and Creative Services and moved into the home in Radnor Township.
Police revealed the wife plotting "revenge" in a series of text messages and emails upon learning of her husband's affair with the younger woman. In 2016, she unsuccessfully ran for a DE state Senate seat as a Republican in 2016, losing out to Dave Sokola. "When she didn't show up for dinner, that is when he got concerned and went to the house", Police Superintendent William Colarulo said.
