The Trump, Kanye West bromance keeps blooming

The pair met in Trump Tower in New York City after Trump won the election.

West then tweeted a picture of an Instagram post of Trump's tweet that retweeted West's original tweet.

A little digging by Cosmopolitan shows that Chrissy Teigen, Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner also aren't now following West, though that doesn't necessarily indicate an unfollow.

Kim's good intentions didn't stop Donald Trump and his son from congratulating themselves, of course.

The interview turned out to be mostly a monologue by the president in which he recited a litany of his favorite talking points - no collusion with Russian Federation, leaker/liar James Comey, the fake news media, his election victory, distrust of the Justice Department, etc. - and the show's hosts often struggled to get a word in edgewise.

Kanye West has been very active on social media today.

Getty Images After Kanye West posted an extended series of tweets on Wednesday that turned to the rapper vocally supporting President Trump, a number of prominent musicians either criticized or unfollowed West on Twitter.

In a fundraising text sent to supporters on Thursday, the Trump campaign applauded West as a "free thinker" often attacked for speaking truth in the same vein as the president.

Different celebrities not directly referred to as the rapper out.

"Get Out" director Jordan Peele tweeted that he was "inspired" to begin writing a "Get Out 2" script while Kumail Nanjiani said, "This was the worst twitter day in Twitter history".

Naturally, with the love for Trump also came the criticism of Barack Obama, whom West said never got anything done while in the Oval.

But not everyone has condemned West for his controversial statements.

He later adopted up with one other tweet which learn, "Subsequent President gon be unbiased".

But less than an hour later West followed up with another tweet - an apparent request from his wife Kim Kardashian West, who is a critic of Trump - and clarified that he doesn't agree with everything Trump does. "They are loyal to you and respect your opinion".

If you haven't been keeping up with the Kardashian-Wests, it's forgivable to think the musician's snaps of the home's vaulted ceilings and off-white color scheme are relatively mundane.

"When he spoke out about Trump..." You have people do that they become much more popular.
