"She and Prince Harry ask again for understanding and respect to be extended to Mr. Markle in this hard situation".

Prince Charles and wife Camilla have returned from a visit to Greece, taking a helicopter to Kensington Palace ahead of the royal wedding.

The ceremony will be celebrating love as well as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding.

"The couple will be going on honeymoon, but not straightaway", Kensington Palace rep Jason Knauf said May 4.

The gossip portal earlier reported that Thomas Markle, who lives in Mexico, was back in hospital with doctors warning his heart was "seriously damaged" after a heart attack a week ago.

"Of course I'd walk her down the aisle", he told the outlet.

William will be Harry's best man. Markle has chosen not to have a maid of honor for the ceremony in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.

Previous reports indicated that Thomas Markle wouldn't be at the wedding and that the former actress' mother, Doria Ragland, would walk her down the aisle. "Ms. Markle is delighted to have her parents by her side on this important and happy occasion".

In addition to a carriage procession, Prince Harry and Miss Markle have invited 2,640 people into the grounds of Windsor Castle to watch the arrivals of wedding guests and to watch the procession as it leaves.

The wedding is set to take place at St George's Chapel at midday on Saturday with the Dean of Windsor, David Conner, conducting the service and the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, officiating over the marriage vows.

Bridesmaids alongside Charlotte are three-year-old Florence van Cutsem and two-year-old Zalie Warren, both goddaughters of Prince Harry and children of family friends, six-year-old Remi Litt, seven-year-old Rylan Litt and four-year-old Ivy Mulroney, daughters of Markle's close friends.

We'll see what happens over the next few days.
