Donald Trump Insults LeBron James' Intelligence Because Of Course

James did not hold back on his thoughts about Trump during his interview with Lemon.

On Friday, Trump tweeted about James and Lemon, who has also been critical of him in the past.

Trump had expressed his displeasure with the interview on Twitter, insulting both Lemon and LeBron James.

OH governor John Kasich, a Republican like Trump, and former newscaster Dan Rather also criticized the President's tweet about James.

"What I've noticed over the past few months", James told Lemon, "is [Trump has] kinda used sports to kinda divide us, and that's something that I can't relate to".

The interview aired on CNN on Monday night, but Trump's criticism did not come until Friday night.

So here is the interview, followed by Trump's tweet and the responses to it.

Instead, the Lakers star retweeted a photo of kids at the I Promise School ― a public school for at-risk kids that LeBron recently opened ― with the comment, "Let's get it kids!"

There's nothing substantive about Trump's tweet. Trump puts children in cages, ' his colleague Joseph Flynn wrote. In June this year, before the National Basketball Association finals between Cavaliers and Warriors, James said that neither team wants an invitation to the White House. James called Trump a "bum" after the president rescinded his invitation to the White House for the 2017 Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry after the former MVP said he wouldn't go, despite the tradition of members of championship teams doing so.

Additionally, Trump's insult has highlighted a number of comparisons between Trump's and James' accomplishments and behavior, many of which do not redound to Trump's benefit - most obviously, James' new school and Trump University.
