Why Meghan and Kate are so different

The couple's existing home may well be too small for them, especially given pregnant Meghan is due to give birth next spring.

According to the Daily Telegraph, there was also noticeable tension between the pair when they appeared at the first ever Royal Foundation forum in February.

The expectant parents have made a decision to move to Frogmore Cottage on the grounds of Windsor Estate, about 30 miles from London, Kensington Palace announced in a brief statement over the weekend.

The two are definitely very different people, and Meghan's entry *has* been a source of friction all around.

Meghan Markle's entrée into the British royal family marked several historic milestones.

"The Sussexes wanted to move into a Palace apartment now used by the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, but the current inhabitants are said to 'want to stay put".

When the Duchess of Sussex's closest aide had quit suddenly, no one was more surprised than friends of the pop star Robbie Williams, pictured above with Ayda Field at the wedding of Princess Eugenie.

The Kensington Palace now shared this message. Either way, it's a big step up from Harry and Meghan's current abode at Nottingham Cottage, a one- or two- bedroom cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace.

"However, the Daily Mail source claimed the apartment "'needs to undergo considerable lengthy refurbishments" and this is why the Sussexes could not move in. After having lived a marriage more than a problem with his first wife, the prince of Wales has been more tolerant towards her daughter-in-law. "Understanding the Palace way, the deference, the politics and the fact that there's a pecking order, is taking a while for Meghan to get her head around".

Meanwhile Arthur (12/1) is another popular name - with the latest bets suggesting Meghan and Harry could be using both names if they have twins.

"Doria will be staying with them for quite long periods and they need a larger place", they added.
