Grammys 2019: BTS Will Reportedly Present, But Not Perform

This month will mark the band's debut appearance at the awards, in a dream come true for member Suga, who told Jimmy Fallon previous year that a goal left on his bucket-list was to "go to the Grammys".

The K-pop group may not have gotten a direct nomination for their numerous hits, but they will definitely be making an appearance at the 31st Annual Awards, E!

Love Yourself: Tear, which produced hits like FAKE LOVE and Anpanman, cruised to the top of the Billboard 200 chart in May past year. Their time on stage as presenters is further recognition for the global superstars.

BTS will be appearing at this year's Grammy Awards.

It is unknown which award BTS will present, but the band's name started trending worldwide on Twitter shortly after the news broke.

The announcement in December was yet another breakthrough moment for the band because it made them the first K-pop group in history to be nominated for a Grammy. Other nominees for the category are St. Vincent's Masseduction, the Chairman's The Offering, Mitski's Be the Cowboy, and Foxhole's Well Kept Thing.

BTS comprising of RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook debuted in 2013 under BigHit Entertainment. As for the nominees, Kendrick Lamar is leading the pack with eight nominations (seven of which are for music from the movie Black Panther).
